  If you are planning a day in the mountains, remember to dress in layers. Dressing in layers makes it easier to keep cooler or warmer depending on the weather conditions. Temperatures can be much cooler in higher elevations and the weather is sometimes unpredictable, so be sure to bring rain gear and warm clothing. Comfortable hiking boots are highly recommended on the more rugged trails.

  Dollywood is a 125 acre theme park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee offering exciting thrill rides, world class entertainment and activities for people of all ages. When planning a trip to Dollywood, there are a few things you may want to remember to bring along with you. It is a great idea to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing. There are numerous water rides where you may even get wet, so be prepared. Pack lightly as you will have to carry your items throughout the park.

Outdoor Activities

There are so many outdoor activities to take advantage of in the Great Smoky Mountains. Hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing, and whitewater rafting are just a few examples of what you can do while vacationing in the mountains. A quick change of clothes is always a good idea to bring along with you as well as a small backpack, trail maps, binoculars, sunscreen, camera, bug spray, and light snacks.

Pool/Hot Tub

Most of our vacation rentals have an outdoor hot tub and some even have swimming pool access. It is a great idea to bring along a bathing suit and beach towel for your water excursions. If you plan on using the hot tub, you may also want to bring along a bathrobe to use when getting in and out.

Do you have a minimum stay requirement?

All cabins require at least a 2-night reservation. However, during peak season and holidays additional nights may be required. If you have any questions, please contact a reservation specialist.

Personal Care Items

While we do supply a starter supply of soap and shampoo, we recommend that you bring your own toiletries along with you. Additionally, you may also want to bring a hair dryer and curling iron should you wish to use them on your vacation. Also, do not forget to bring along any personal medications that you will need for the duration of your stay.

Housekeeping Items

Prior to your arrival, your vacation rental will be professionally cleaned and supplied with bath towels, wash towels and bed linens to ensure that you are checking into clean and comfortable accommodations. Most vacation rentals are equipped with washer and dryers for your convenience and use. Daily maid service is not available, therefore it is a good idea to purchase or bring cleaning supplies to use during your stay. A good multi-purpose cleaner should do the trick.

Kitchen Supplies and Items

All of our vacation rentals feature kitchens stocked with basic cookware, utensils, plates, cups and silverware. These items have been supplied for your convenience. Should you need specialty cookware items such as casserole dishes, large baking pans, pizza pans or the like, we strongly recommend that you bring your own.

Condiments, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. are not supplied in the vacation rentals.

Cell Phones/Wireless Internet Cards/Electronics

Due to the mountainous region, terrain and cell phone tower locations, you may or may not have cell phone service at your vacation rental. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you bring a calling card to use in the event cell phone service is unavailable. Additionally, you will want to bring along the chargers for your cell phone, iPod, laptop and any other electronic device.

Time Spent at the Vacation Rental

If you plan on spending time at your vacation rental for a little rest and relaxation, then you might want to bring along a few items to make it an even more enjoyable experience. We recommend that you bring a good book, DVD’s (if the vacation rental is equipped with a DVD Player), paper and pencil, magazines, comfortable pajamas and anything else you may need to feel right at home.

For your convenience, our office is open from 8AM to 10PM Monday through Saturday and 8AM to 6PM on Sunday.

What are Check-In and Check-Out Times?

Check-In begins at 4PM. We recommend that you arrive before dark to ensure that you can easily find your vacation rental. Check-Out is at 11AM.

What is a vacation rental and how does it differ from a hotel or motel?

Unlike traditional hotels or motels, our vacation rentals feature amenities and appointments similar to a traditional home. Each vacation rental features fully equipped kitchens, living areas, covered decks/patios, central heat & air and private bedrooms. Other amenities that differ from a hotel or motel include outdoor hot tubs, indoor jetted tubs, game rooms with pool tables, privacy and much more!

Vacation rentals are spacious, allowing for families and guests to easily interact with one another, which can often be difficult when staying in a hotel or similar property. Additionally, rates of vacation rentals tend to be very similar to what you would pay for a standard hotel room or suite.
